 Very beautiful and not so flashy April 21, 2010

I just got it yesterday and today I had the bracelet adjusted to my wrist. Can't complain about a single bit, the watch is not heavy or extremely big. Despite of being totally polished it is not so flashy.
The bracelet plastic links (the black ones in the middle) really seems a little bit more fragile compared to the steel ones, but Swatch have one year guarantee across the globe, so if it eventually break up I'll have it repaired, so this problem don't worry me.

Very simple to use, attractive and excellent build quality as you would expect from this brand.
Overall: best present and best watch i've had so far :-)

Swatches are great value for money compared to other brands and I bought this as a replacement for my old irony, which was just too battered to wear any more. I usually go with a leather strap as they are more comfortable but decided to go for this one cos it looked cool and I thought Id save a few quid in the long term (usually have to replace a leather strap every year). Unfortunately my experiences with this one have been pretty negative. Firstly I had to take the watch back three times for adjustment and having gotten the strap to a comfortable setting it has totally ruined the look of the strap. Secondly, its a lot more shiney than it looks and third both the ultra shiney AND nice brushed metal is as scratchable as an ipod. I have only had it three weeks and the metal is in a pretty bad state all over and even the face is starting to show signs of wear and tear (like all swatches the face is plastic so although it looks expensive it aint gonna last like some of its better quality rivals). So, all in all a great looking watch but one that will last only a year or so. Not such a bargain after all.

I purchased this model Swatch approximately two years ago. I tend to prefer the Aluminium Irony models, but they are hard to find, especially in the Chrono range.
The design of the Windfall model (and the sale price I got it for) convinced me to give this heavier watch a try.
Unfortunately after less than a year's wear the central black part of the strap broke. It would seem to me that the heavy model watch would really benefit from the metal strap durability, unfortunately the central links in the strap are all plastic and definitely the weakest links.
I have not been able to wear the watch since, as I cannot find any place that will just sell me a replacement strap.

I bought this watch in Hong Kong for about GDP 135. I recieved a lot of compliments on this wath due to its looks. Its my favourite watch, the chrongraph works well and it looks amazing.
Sadly less than 2 years later the black part of the strap broke. We took it to the swatch dealer who admitted that it was a design flaw. They replaced it with a stainless steel Swatch strap at an extra cost of GDP 25. I continue to wear it.
So overall great looking watch with a solid chronograph function, but be wary of the strap.
